Structural Steel & Rebar

Wire Rods & Rounds

Wire rod is hot-rolled coiled steel — the feedstock that downstream industries draw into wire, cold-head into fasteners, or weld into mesh. Rounds are straight hot-rolled bars used directly in construction and machining. Together they cover an enormous range of industrial consumption.

Range

  • Wire rod in low, medium and high carbon grades, coiled, in drawing and cold-heading qualities
  • Round bars in carbon and alloy grades for construction, machining and forging
  • Sizes from fine rod for wire drawing up to large-diameter rounds for shafts and pins

Applications

Wire drawing plants, nail and fastener manufacturing, welded mesh and fencing production, concrete reinforcement accessories, machined components, anchor bolts and tie rods, and general engineering stock.

How CSACI supplies rod and rounds

Coils and bars ship with certificates of conformity and origin plus SGS third-party inspection covering chemistry and mechanical properties, packed for sea freight with rust-preventive treatment where specified. We quote against your grade, size and tonnage schedule, consolidating with rebar and structural sections when useful.
