Structural Steel & Rebar

Steel Channels

Channels are U-shaped sections with a flat web and two parallel flanges on one side. With one flat face, they excel where a section must sit flush against another surface — which is why channels appear everywhere from stair stringers to vehicle chassis.

Types and grades

  • UPN / U-channels with tapered flanges to European practice
  • Parallel flange channels (PFC) for simpler connections
  • ISMC sections to Indian standards, widely used in project exports
  • Structural carbon grades to EN, ASTM, IS and BS standards

Applications

Stair stringers and landings, purlins and girts in industrial buildings, equipment frames and skids, cable tray and pipe supports, trailer and wagon construction, and edge framing around floor openings. Channels back-to-back form built-up columns and lintels in renovation work.

How CSACI supplies channels

Channels ship in mill lengths or cut to your list, bare or primed, bundled per size with certificates of conformity and origin plus SGS third-party inspection. Consolidate them with beams, angles, plate and rebar in a single order delivered to your port or site.
