API 5L X 60 PSL 1
Grade X60 indicates 60000 PSI minimum yield strength and 75000 PSI minimum ultimate tensile strength.
We can help supply all of the API 5L X 60 Pipe or line pipe supplies that your company needs for use in the oil or natural gas industries. API 5L Line Pipe Specifications for these pipes regulate usage for standard Grade A and Grade B pipes, with Grade X indicating stronger variants for drilling, production, and transport requirements for offshore, arctic, deep well, or harsher environments.
All products are industry-standard conforming to or exceeding API, ASTM, ASME, ANSI, and other national and international standards
API X Grades – some of the sturdiest pipes and tubing available designed for extreme environments or exceedingly high-pressure environments

API 5L X60 PSL1 Pipe – delivery condition and surface
Usually, API 5L X42 PSL1 pipes are supplied as hot rolled. Only tubes with DN 6 -10, perhaps tubes of other dimensions are supplied as cold drawn and after forming they are heat treated. This is done as per precious agreement. The tube surface meets corresponds to the means of manufacturing.
API 5L X60 PSL1 Pipe – straightness
Tubes are visually straight.
Ends of the API 5L X60 PSL1 Pipe
The ends of the tubes are smooth, without threads.
From 60.3 diameter beveled according to standards:
DIN, EN – a = 40° – 60°, c = to 2 mm
ASME – a = 75° ± 5°, c = 1,6 ± 0,8 mm
Marking of API 5L X60 PSL1 Pipe and tube bundles
Tubes with diameters up to 1 ½” are marked with a label on the bundle. Tubes with a larger diameter than 1 ½” are implemented according to directives or upon request.
API 5L X60 PSL1 Pipe – surface protection
Line pipes are supplied without temporary protection against corrosion. Upon request, it is possible to deliver tubes with agreed-upon anticorrosion protection. The tube ends may be enclosed by a plastic plug.
API 5L X60 PSL1 Pipe – testing
API 5L X60 PSL1 Pipe is tested according to the requirements of the appropriate standards. In all cases, the tube leaking test is performed. Tubes meet the directive requirements NACE MR 0175. covering resistance to acid environment (SSC – Sulfide Stress Cracking). When ordering the tubes it is possible to agree upon the carbon content value (CEV).
Whether you need API 5L X60 Pipe, standard length and diameter pipes and tubing or you need high strength, high tensile, heavy wall line pipe requirements for deep sour wells, drilling, offshore drilling and production, arctic exploration and production, or you need API 5L X60 Pipe for natural gas, oil or water transport, then Canada Steel and Casing Imports can meet the demands of your company.
