Steel Plates

Wear Plates for Earth-Moving & Mining

Where rock, ore and aggregate slide across steel, ordinary plate wears out in weeks. Abrasion-resistant (AR) wear plate is quenched to hardness levels of 400 and 500 Brinell — several times the wear life — while staying weldable and formable enough to build and repair with.

Range

  • AR400-class plate for general wear liners with good formability
  • AR500-class plate where sliding abrasion dominates and forming is limited
  • Standard thicknesses cut to liner-kit patterns on request

Applications

Excavator and loader buckets, dump truck bodies and tipper linings, chutes, hoppers and transfer points, crusher and screen liners, dredge components, and demolition attachments — everywhere mining, quarrying and earth-moving equipment fights abrasion.

How CSACI supplies wear plate

Plate ships with certificates of conformity and origin plus SGS third-party inspection stating hardness and chemistry, in mill sheets or cut-to-pattern liner kits. We quote by grade, thickness and pattern list, and consolidate wear plate with structural steel and rebar for mining project shipments.
